About the Book
Selecia Handle, a final year student in high school and Bradford Cole, a college sophomore, meet at Jay's Jewellers as summer workers. They share their thoughts, dreams and goals for the future as they work and enjoy lunch breaks and some weekend activities together. With the friendship comes a relationship that will change their dreams and lives forever. That summer, a quiet, destructive storm changed everything. It made everything more difficult, complicated, challenging and different for Selecia, Brad and their families.
