About the Book
Selecia Handle Cole and her husband face the first major test of their marriage. A storm is brewing and their love and respective families must be strong enough to survive it. With a five month old baby, Selecia and her family must prepare for and ride out a hurricane that will destroy much of the island's infrastructure; cutting them off from the outside world and their closest island neighbors. Through it all, Brad is concerned, franctic and decisive. He is going home. His family needs him. He doesn’t know how he’s going to get there. He doesn't know if they are dead or alive. But he knows that they need him. Communication, transportation and hope are all but gone.
About the Author
D'Sarah Daniel, author of Summer Season For Storms and Love, lives in the sunny Virgin Islands. She believes that life, in general, has enough complications without adding more. She also believes that love is the best emotion of all. With love at the core of our being, we can live life filled with a sense of purpose, excitement, hope and appreciation for each other, individually and collectively. D’Sarah further reminds us to keep in prayer all relationships that are starting out, those that are trembling under the weight of life's pressures, children who are a result of relationships that reflected love and hope and also the people around us whose lives we can impact with our gift of love.
