Thoughts
Today I heard your voice being carried by the wind. I turned to look and see your image. I caught a swirl of leaves around me. I knew it was you embracing me from afar. The breeze blew upward and lifted my hair as you would if it were in your hands. I closed my eyes and let the air caress my face. Once the moment had past I smiled as deep and wide as I ever had before. I hummed a little tune and skipped a side step. I loved knowing that somewhere in this big wide world you were there thinking of me.

About the Author
Emma has been interested in poetry and liturature all her life and became an avid writer in her early childhood. Over the years of writing for her own pleasure has decided to document her thoughts of living loving and growing in this her first collection. She has compiled these selected poems from different eras in her life.
