About the Author
The author has taught elementary physical education (k-6) for 30 years. He has been a co-operating teacher for the Ohio University Physical Education Major's methods classes for 16 years. He has also taught the Introduction of Teaching Physical Education at Ohio University for two quarters. The author has presented physical education activities for workshops sponsored by the Ohio Department of Health, State Planning Committee for Health Eduction in Ohio, and Action for Healthy Kids. Mr. Snider has a B.S. in Physical Education, Masters in Physical Education, and Masters in Educational Administration from Ohio University. Before teaching, he spent 6 years in Los Angeles Dodger's organization as a player and player-coach. Mr. Snider has experience in helping the development of the novice as well as the pro.
