About the Book

King Reginald and his daughter, Princess Daffodil, hold a royal picnic of peanut butter sandwiches until the Big Bad Dragon comes along to spoil things. Children will enoy reading the thrilling and humorous story as the king is baffled as to stop the dragon before he takes over the kingdom. The princess, however, has a plan to foil the Big Bad Dragron's evil scheme. The book filled with brightly colored pictures by cartoonist Daniel Roberts that will delight young readers.

About the Author

A graphic artist and cartoonist, Daniel Roberts is a graduate of commercial art from Iowa Wesleyan College and a graduate of the Art Instruction School. He has had numerous cartoons published in magazines and newspapers, including “Woman’s World”, "The Saturday Evening Post", “Rural Heritage” and in King Features Syndicate's "The New Breed" comic strip. Roberts has had a number of political cartoons and a continuing comic strip named "Haley's Comment" appear in the publication "Toons". He also does cartoons for the "Cousin Rick Says" newspaper column. He has written and illustrated the cartoon books "The Funny Side of Hunting & Fishing", “Kitty’s Laws: Murphy’s Laws for Cat Owners” and “Canine’s Laws: Murphy’s Laws for Dog Owners”. His children's picture books include “There's a Cookie Stuck to my Nose!”, “The Santa Claus Easter Bunny Switch
