Mothers, Did We Forget?
Mothers, did we forget that our children are blessings from God? Somewhere, somehow, some of these blessings entered this world, only to be abused and misused, (physically,mentally,emotionally and sexually). It is our duties as mothers to protect the children that God gave to us. It seems that we have lost our minds. We are thinking about our own needs. Newsflash!! When we have children, our needs comes last. Please don't misunderstand what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying that our needs shouldn't be met, because our needs must be met, so that we'll have the physical, mental and emotional strength we'll need to carry on. However, our needs should be met, after we know that our children's needs are met. We must wake up from this slumber that we are in. Mothers, take a look at our society, today. More and more babies are being born out of wedlock. these children didn't ask to come into this cruel cold, heartless world. How many of us would be honest with ourselves and admit that some of these pregnancies weren't planned but, conceived during our self- gratification stages and probably was a one-stand; with alcohol and drugs a major part. Some of us probably didn't know the guys last name and didn't remember his first name once we sobered up. It doesn't matter how we think our children was conceived. We need to realize that these children are blessings from God. God expects us to love, guide, nurture and discipline our children. (Read Proverbs chapter 23: verses 13-14). When we come to the realization that regardless of how our children were conceived,(rape, one night-stands,or stepping out on our husbands); know this my sisters, God was in the mist of it all. These babies weren't mistakes, so hold your heads up high and know that God needed your DNA and the person's DNA that you conceived the child or children with, in order for these babies to become the person(s)that God intended for him, her, or them to be. If God chose you, count it all joy and know that God got your back and that child's or children's back, as well.

About the Book
"Calling All Mothers" is a non- fiction novel. It talks about how mothers were from the beginning of time in the bible days. then the olden days when women were cleaning their houses, washing clothes on scrub boards, hanging clothes out to dry and ironing with their long dresses. These women were content in their places, back then. Through out the novels, you'll see the changes of times. The author talks about her recollections of,the hard times, but, simple times. Throughout the novel you'll see as time changes, mothers became more and more independent. However, the more independent mothers became,the more chaotic the world and the children became. We, as mothers, welcomed Women's Liberation. But what we didn't realize was that Women's Liberation had us going against the grain of God. The Book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 3:15 states;"that which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and God seeks that which is past." In other words, nothing under the Sun is new; what's going on now has happened before. If you don't believe that look at the sizes of our children today, then go to the book of Genesis:chapter 6:4. There is a chapter in the novel that talk's about "These Giants are just Children" it compares the children in the bible days to the children today. It talk's about how God made us, women peculiar people, yet at some stage in our lives, we allow our life to become a tangled web. It's nothing we can't get out of; if we put God first. About the Author
The Author is a Christian, wife, mother of five. She has a background in Special Education, Disabled Veteran, who served in the Gulf War (United States Army), obtained a Degree at the University of Central Texas and currently she's a Correctional Officer. She Coached Volleyball at the Boys & Girls Club in Killeen, Texas. She also plays volleyball when time permits. She is an encourager. She feels everyone deserves a sense of self worth. She believes that there are good people, who have made bad choses in their lives. She is the author of "From a Child's Mind; To an Adult's Heart". She a Native of New Orleans, Louisiana and lives in Harker Heights, Texas with her family.
