Suddenly, a big storm broke around them. Thunder and lightening boomed and shook the sky all around them. More clouds came and surrounded them with their threatening black look. Raging torrents of wind and rain blew toward them from every side until they were taken into the fury of the storm. Holding together; the boys were rocked back and forth as the cloud beneath them shuttered and rolled. Suddenly, bursting apart, the cloud exploded into crystals of icy rain. The boys were tossed free into the raging storm, tumbling together toward the ground.
“It worked!” Bippy yelled above the boiling fury of the storm. He hauled Yody around and shouted for him to grab his ankles. Yody did as he was told and grasped Bippy's ankles as the cape unfurled and spread like a canopy over them both. Soon, they were no longer tumbling through the air, but flying. This was the greatest feeling ever! Yody thought. He laughed and laughed as Bippy guided their flight to safety. Just before they crashed into the ground, Bippy yelled for Yody to let go. He did, and went tumbling into the soft grass of a meadow. Bippy tumbled ahead of him landing in a heap, tangled in his cape.
“Well, that needs work” Bippy said as he unwrapped himself from his large cape. The cape was now spread like a blanket beneath him as he sat beside Yody on the soft green earth. “Yeah,” Yody agreed as he righted his cap and checked to see that his sack was still securely looped over his shoulder.
The boys looked at each other and then began to laugh with relief. They lay back on Bippy's very big cape enjoying the feeling of the ground beneath them.

About the Book
What in the world is a THINKSEEDO? The answer is seven year old Yody who lives in the land of Yon. A boy born with a rare gift that allows him to THINK great thoughts, SEE into the Beyond and DO great deeds. One day, as Yody sits atop his tree thinking and gazing out over the Beyond, he is surprised to discover what looks like a boy, hanging from a cloud and struggling to get free. Seeing that the boy is unable to help himself out of his predicament, Yody jumps to his duty, puts on his thinking cap and thinks himself across the Beyond to the rescue. The boy caught is Bippy, from the land of Boo. His magic cape has gotten stuck in an icy cloud when he was flying too close. When Bippy realizes that Yody is there to help him, he explains that his cape cannot be damaged or it will lose it's power. The boys begin to work together to try to solve the problem, but their first idea fails. Yody decides to bring down the power of a great storm to blow the clouds away and melt the ice. But the storm soon becomes too strong, surrounding them and rocking and bumping their cloud up and down. Too powerful for him to control, the storm blows the cloud apart tossing the boys into the air. Yody finds himself having to trust Bippy to fly them both to safety. After a rocky landing, but on the ground at last, both boys are relieved and happy that they are safe. Realizing that they are not alone and that working together was fun, the boys laugh together knowing they have learned the value of trust and that each has found a friend.
About the Author
From her earliest recollections Judy Little has had a long history of writing poetry, short stories and even a novel before falling in love with writing children's books. Little spent many years as a technical writer in her career as a surgical nurse educator. And, while she enjoyed this type of committing word to page, she looked forward to retirement and writing simply for pleasure. On a whim one Christmas, Little wrote a Christmas fantasy for her grandchildren as a special gift. Loving the story, her family begged for another. This resulted in an award winning trilogy and her second career was born.
