Summer as We Wanted Floating On love's winds Following paths of silver linings And sunsets As the red And orange And yellow Gives us life abundantly Shades of green lay with us As we roll around on small mountains Of what's greener on the other side The air Filled with our scent As moments before we played soccer Her pheromones rest easy on my tongue My belief, Nothing was better than Grandma's pie I lied Life's lessons, Disguised as red kool-aid We pour a glass Bitter And need more sugar Just a bit to make room for blessings And as God shows mercy We are intimate
Formats Book Details In his first collection of poems, Ralph explores the genuine heart of men and how they navigate through love. Love is something that comes in many shapes and sizes, and with each story, Ralph gives an eyewitness account for each type. As you read, you’ll begin a journey with the author and as each page turns, another lesson is learned. The author, Ralph Hall, was born and raised in Oakland, CA. He now resides in Hayward, CA where he attends California State University East Bay. Currently Ralph is a sophomore working towards a B.A in Human Development. Ralph is a man of many titles and has accomplished much in his 21 years of living. As of now, his focus is on public policy and the well being of in care foster youth and transition aged youth, which he is able to do through his employment and internship. Ralph is a member of Living Waters church in Richmond, where is an inspiration to many.
