An Angel in My Pocket

I don't want my mommy to be an angel! Daddy said he didn't want it either, but sometimes we do not get to choose who becomes an angel. Daddy looked very sad. I gave him a hug. "How can I see my Mommy again? How can I play with her hair? Who can I snuggle with? I miss my Mommy!"

Daddy said,"Angels help people." I asked him if Mommy would help me when she came home. Daddy said that Mommy would not be coming home. Becoming an angel means you have to live up in heaven, which seems very far away to me.
