About the Book
Melody Babinski and her step-brother, Steve Ruppert, grow up in a poor environment. Their single mother is always out of the house due to her gambling habit. This is a story of Melody Babinski who is a big dreamer. She wants to be wealthy, fast and big. She follows her friend’s successful endeavor, and she marries wealthy husbands, but fails miserably, because of her self-indulgence, extravagance, and her personality defect--OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). She is a hoarder of beautiful and expensive things, but mostly unnecessary items. Unfortunately, she loses her three husbands and wealth, as well. Despite the help and advices of her friend, brother and a newly found sister, she remains stubborn. She refuses to seek medical help, and persists doing her wasteful habit. Fortuitously, she finally finds her dream: wealth. Unfortunately, she pays a huge price for her success. She almost dies twice. She barely escapes from a burning building, and also drowns in the midst of a hurricane, but is saves by an inexplicable phenomenon she claims as a miracle. The story has suspense, action, intrigue, and most importantly, lessons to be learned.
About the Author
Frank Tejada, is a Philippine-born physician, a 1956 graduate of the University of Santo Tomas School of Medicine, Manila, and practiced his profession in Collinsville, Illinois for forty years. He retired in 1995. Boredom of retirement ushered him to several hobbies:. Writing novels and art are foremost.. As a senior, he can still dance the jive, cha-cha and Paso doble. He has written several books; fiction and non-fiction. He did more than three-hundred paintings: in oil, acrylic, and mixed media. He has been married to a beautiful and caring lady, Betty, for sixty one years. They are blessed with six children and ten grandchildren.
