Puppets, Strings, & Permission is a collection of the author’s inner most thoughts.   E. Dekeil reveals a natural progression of her poetic writings since 1991.  She has painted a vivid picture of her life experiences with colorful brushes of personal growth, hardships, faith, vulnerability, and love.  The result will warm your heart and fill your spirit with hope.

About the Author

E. Dekeil was born in Chicago, Illinois.  She earned both her Juris Doctor and her B.S. in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She is the founder and president of iFollow/iLead, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of youth through education and empowerment.  Currently, she resides in the Washington, DC area.  To learn more about the author and her works, please visit her website at www.edekeil.com.
