During his last days I hardly saw him. He wanted to keep my memories of him joyous. My mother, grandmother and I would go to the Veterans Hospital and visit him. The more ill he became, the shorter my bedside visits were. Soon it got to the point when I was not allowed in his hospital room. Once things had gotten to the point when I could no longer see him a short time after that, he passed.

About the Book
His Death, My Angel is a true story of a young woman who had to come to grips late in life about the death of her grandfather who passed away when she was a young child. It was not until Lisa was in her mid twenties that she felt the pain of his death. He died of cancer. The main character goes through life desiring her grandfather’s presence and later realizes that he is with her in spirit. Lisa reminisces of the times they shared and ponders on good memories. This book was written to encourage, to inspire and to help heal those who have lost loved ones. This story is for the young and old.
About the Author
Melissa Blue is a wife and mother of two beautiful children.She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and has worked in the area of corrections and security. In 1997 Melissa self-published " It Doesn't Pay to Be a Quitter". Despite her various accomplishments there was still something missing in her life, there was an empty place in her heart. Melissa came to realize that she truly missed the love and protection of her grandfather. He passed away when she was just a young child. Melissa has gone through many difficult times in her life and she held on to the desire for a love to come in her life that was strong like to love of her grandfather. Melissa desires to bring awareness to cancer and to inspire those who read her book to find a place of healing despite what may have caused the pain.
