avocado dreams and
banana sunsets
wild world of ticklish
sunflower seeds and
dancing kiwis
strawberry delights the
pear is unusally popular
its american pie
orange tornados and
lemon hurricanes
the rain is lime
its the parade of the century
the grand marshal mr. honeydew
is tossing grapes to the crowd
there is a raffle for
a great big cantaloupe
star fruit can-can and
peach motorcades
the apricots are jealous
the lesser fruits!
navels and tangerines
oh, and the tangelos
tag along, invisible
the grapefruit savior
with its ruby red
sweetness its the
only hope for the
strange man
oh, the lesser fruits!
so insignifacant their
plea so tinny their voices
perhaps only the god apple

About the Book
"Silent Ambiguity" is a collection of poetry from composer and filmmaker Daniel Luke Nunley. Pieces are taken mostly from his earliest writings, with some of his newer work mixed in. This is his first publication.
About the Author
Daniel Luke Nunley was born August 3rd, 1990 and currently resides in his hometown of Ashland, Kentucky. Known nationwide as an award winning composer of chamber and new world music, he has also seen critical acclaim in his native state for his achievements in creative videography. He enjoys writing as a pastime, and has begun work on a follow up book of short poems entitled "The Interludes" as well as three novels. He is in the process of relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. He is a born-again Christian and plays bass guitar for the rock worship group "The Andrew Tyler Band".
