"You are making a terrible mistake!" Sora Withridge stood in the cemetery pleading with the town council. "You accuse the town's founders of witchcraft, and instead of trying us in a court of law you bury us alive?" In October of 1792 the townspeople of Heaven Hill had gone mad. They accused anyone who was related to any of the towns founders of being witches. It was Sora's 100th birthday that night. She had seen all her friends and relatives buried alive. Sora knew she only had a few moments before she would be completely covered with dirt. As the final shovelfulls of dirt were being tossed on her head she spoke out for the final time. "I curse your town of Heaven Hill! Bad fortune will come to all who should ever walk on the soil of my ancestor's graves. They who do not heed my warning will suffer a horrible death on their next birthday!" Sora was barely able to get her last words out before the dirt covered her head. Within a year everyone in attendance that night had perished on their birthday, just as Sora had warned. Soon after a new cemetery was constructed and the town council banned anyone from entering the old cemetery from that day on. About the Book
A collection of four short stories to scare and shock you. First is a story about a young boy and his imaginary friend. Tommy's mother believes that her son's friend is pretend, but after some strange happenings in their house she is not so sure. Next up is a story about a guardian angel. Sara always thought that she had a guardian angel watching over her. Ever since she had been a child there had been numerous times that she narrowly avoide getting hurt or even killed. Was it really her guardian angel keeping her safe, or something else entirely. The third story is about a small town in Tennessee that had a curse placed on it by a witch over 200 years ago. Some people say that it is a story told to keep strangers away. You can make your own decision after hearing the Legend of Heaven Hill. The last story takes you deep inside the mind of a serial rapist. Hear in his own words why he chooses to live the life he does. What happens when one of his victims parents finds out who he is? Do they contact the police or make their own justice?
About the Author
Scott has always loved scary storys. Anything that goes bump in the night intrigues him. It seemed only natural to write a book of short stories to express himself. Some of the ideas in the stories are taken from events that happened in the house he grew up in in Michigan.
