About the Author

Jean Sievert was a teacher for twenty years before turning to political writings that were critical in every level of government.  In her seventies she switched to children’s books as a far more satisfying pursuit.  Jean lives in the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She is close to her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jack Stebbins, owners of Shogun Gordon Setters.  Their Gordons visit daily for treats from her talking cookie jar.
