Only in these few solitary moments may I find peace. The flow of life slows so I can see every flawless detail of it’s being, so beautiful and true to its nature. I take in the calmness of the sea that surrounds me like the still setting sun. It turns the sky into a kaleidoscope of blue and red memories singing the earth to sleep with the sway of the wind. I sink into my cradle humming to the sound of life and whispering the words of love. My emotions, finally at rest, take on the shape of a dream that lifts my thoughts where eagles fly free. A true understanding of myself.

Born in London, Ontario in 1993, Elle has lived and gone to school in Canada, Germany and England. A love of nature animals and travel is intertwined with all of her goals and experiences. A special affinity to horses echoes deep in he soul. Elle has drawn on her highs and lows as inspiration for this collection of poems and short stories.
