About the Book
A collection of poems written by Daniel Reisman, including his first one written at age thirteen, and through the years to the present. A wide variety of subjects are covered, including (but not limited to) personality interactions, gardening, workplace thoughts and philosophies, the concept of aging and our life spans, the significance of Earth, Air, Fire and Water, the moon, the universe, dancing, reminiscing about the past, questioning of motivations, physical and psychological environments, nature and social interactions. These poems, for the most part, are philosophical in nature, and will definitely have you thinking about them and probably relating to them.
About the Author
In April of 2009, Daniel Reisman turned 70 years old, and has been writing poetry since he was thirteen. This book contains poems written over that span of years. He has always been intrigued by the general concept of causes and effects and interactions, and the effect of our environment on our lives. His mother wrote numerous poems, mainly when sending holiday cards, and he believes that he may have inherited his skill from her, although his style is more philosophical. One of her poems in contained in this book. Mr. Reisman graduated from Cornell University as an English Major and from Syracuse Law School. He also served two years in the army, which included a stint in Viet Nam. His life has been a learning experience for him--some philosophical highpoints of which he wishes to share with you in poetry form.
