About the Author

James Monroe Johnson, a two-year Vietnam veteran, has had PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) for more than 36 years, but has managed to survive in spite of it. Going from job to job, then losing them just as quick due to problems associated with PTSD fall-outs of the war. Now being treated for symptoms of PTSD, together with the inspiration of Barack Obama's presidential campaign and his ultimate election as President, he was compelled to recover in ways that he hadn't previously known. James spend nine years and two months in the US Army from 1964 to 1973.
