Little Joseph, Big Trouble

 Now Joseph is hungry.  He is sitting at the table waiting on his mother. He thinks that mom is taking too long.  I’m going to be late for Sunday school.  Little Joseph says under his breath, “I’m a big boy I can fix my own food.”  He pulls the chair up to the stove.  He puts a piece of bacon, a biscuit, eggs and grits on his plate.  This was super easy Joseph thinks.  When Joseph tries to get down from the chair with the plate in his hand he falls and food flies everywhere the glass plate shatters and he screams.  Little Joseph is on the kitchen floor with his red cowboy hat on shocked and scared.  He could hear his mom, sister and dad running toward the kitchen. Joseph’s big sister enters the kitchen first.  She yells, “Little Joseph you are in big trouble!!!”
