A Friend Goes Missing

Nyki leaned over the toliet and vomited for the third time since breakfast. She knew the fruit she had eaten was okay, however the coffee must have had something added to cause the nausea she was experiencing. She washed her mouth out with water from the faucet. She didn't trust the bottled water as it didn't have a label on it. It was probably mixed on the island and had some additives that would cause her more problems. She had looked at the women around the island and most of them seemed to be in a daze. Willoughby's sister must be giving them something to cause them to be sedate and timid. Whenever she approached one of the ladies they would lower their heads and avoid her. Maybe she would agree to Willoughby's request and contact her friends about the concert. Surely they would let her go after she made the choice to cooperate with them. If only this nausea would cease she muttered as she ran to the toliet again.
