About the Author
Dr. Roger White is a clinical cardiologist. He has been involved with emergency care, heart surgery, development of cardiac imaging, research, and teaching. He trained at the University of Chicago and has been on the faculties of Northwestern University Medical School and the Unversity of Hawaii. He has published numerous scientific articles and also a popular handbook for physicians on the modern treatment of heart attacks. He is a founding editor of the Asian Annals of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. He is a frequent guest lecturer in North America and Asia, and televsion. His main interest now is preventive care medicine. He coordinates health seminars In Hawaii and internationally. He resides in Honolulu.
