Negative Circumstances
What even hurts worse during these traumatic events are the words spoken by people near you that deepens it further, for example, they will blame you for their loss of life, job, marriage and so on.
We were all brought up not to worry what people said about us, or name calling, even in kindergarten we were taught how childish it was to name call, even a nursery rhyme was given to us to help get over name calling, it went like this “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me”
WRONG, even the Bible warns us over and over how destructive a loose tongue is, even the book of James covers it, and Jesus compares a gossip with a murderer.
That nursery rhyme should have been taught like this, “Stick’s and stones may break my bones, BUT names will destroy me”
This is one reason why our children have no self esteem today, Some children and teens are driven into the ground by other children, peers, and parents, and as a world standard. Making fun of us on our weight, color, religion, social status, income, where we are from, the type of house. It all begins with words, gossip, lies, and then traumatic events. In combination of these problems it drives us down a very bad road.
Have you ever been betrayed, stabbed in the back? Nothing hurts worse when a friend back stabs in the back for a job, or promotion, or even just a title, or your spouse that cheats on you, or a family member, but one of the greatest hurts, is one it comes from a brother or sister in Christ. These are the last people you would expect it to come from, why? Because first you thought they loved you, second, they are to be Christ like, but they lied or deceived to obtain something from you, this is why people turn their back on God.
Aside from what you think, it was not God that did it to you, one thing I have Learned, people are not the enemy, Satan is. People are influenced by Satan, the world, or their own greed, Satan is the enemy, That’s who you pray against to protect your mind, your emotions, but most of all your heart.
Negative Circumstances
All of these things I have mentioned attack the mind, it’s your mind the devil is after. If he gets your mind he has you. The apostil Paul states we are to have the mind of Jesus Christ, and that we are to renew are mind each and every day.

In today’s world we have experienced personal and family tragedies, either it’s abuse, sexual, physical, or verbal abuse. Some of us has suffered a great loss, by death of a loved one, a family member, a child, or in the sudden loss of health, not being able to work or play the way we used to, not enjoying life the way we once did, or we lost a good job or career. In these crazy economic times we lose a car or home, and we can become dismayed and depressed so quickly. As Gods Children in these last day’s we face many trials and tribulations, the devil throws them all at us, besides trials in everyday life, people have and will continue to talk about us, put us down, slander us, we get criticism from family, friends, and co-workers. The last thing we would expect is attacks from our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ. These are the last people we would think of that would hurt us. This book is to show you how to overcome pain, by learning to renew your mind, your thinking and speech. Getting God's best for your life, receiving victory, joy and peace back into your life. -In addition to this book, I am also giving honor in memory of a faithful pet, and family friend, Diesel.
About the Author
Chief Dan Tackett is the director and founder of the International Police & Fire Chaplain Association. He holds a doctrine in Chaplaincy and theology. He has been a First Responder Chaplain in hundreds of trauma and high stress crisis situations. Former Detective, Security Police officer, Pastor, and holds many certifications as an instructor in CISM, suicide prevention, Domestic and Sexual abuse, Security, Police courses, and he was inducted into the Police Hall of Fame in 1987 for training over two thousand officers. Chief Tackett has trained First Responders and Chaplains all over the United States.
