to be an
individual
to know the reasons why
this winter wouldn’t share her
blankets
beneath dark sky
to spit into the face of destiny
and see all philosophies
as a moron’s cousin
to see new worlds
with fresh–eyes
then, drink in one’s own
potion of boiled down
truth
to the weary.
to the sleepless.
to the fragile,
and to the leary:
