About the Book

 A journey traveling through the diversity and beauty of nature, the author leads us further into the world's unique people offering a glimpse of their challenges, hopes and dreams.  Appealing to a wide range of readers from teenagers to seniors, the author creates sensitive, honest impressions that are easily relatable to the reader.  Reflecting on all facets of life with candor, imagination and a bit of humor, the author's goal is to present a view connecting the people of the world by a common thread of life uniting us all in compassion and understanding.

About the Author

Embracing poetry and music throughout her life, the author's ability to reflect upon the natural beauty of our surroundings enables her to transport readers into a very special and personal place.  Her poems touch the very heart of human emotion and capture the spectacular beauty of the things we see every day awakening an appreciation of the world around and within us.  Her unique observations throughout her life have given way to writings that both intertwine the sanctity of the human spirit and the mysteries of nature. "Within These Branches" is her first published collection of poems.  In addition to her poems appearing in educational publications in Singapore, she has won numerous awards for her short stories.  She is currently working on a children's book.  Nancy is a married mother of four adult children and has four grandchildren.  She resides in Southern California.
