About the Author
Mike Haszto, originally from Islip, NY and now residing in North Ridgeville, Ohio, is an award winning poet with five published poetry books on life and its experiences, with another book in the pipeline.
Nominated Poet of the Year for 2008 by the International Society of Poets, he paints a vivid picture with his words, yet provokes the reader to go further in their thoughts to a different place and time.
This is his third novel to date, following Radio Free Mickey and Life On Side B, both fictional tales about a “Mom and Pop” owner of a radio station fending off a corporation buyout and station exploits.
While not writing, Haszto enjoys coaching high school hockey and activities include playing goal for the OHH Hockey Team and playing indoor soccer with The Nachoes, while enjoying spending time with The Jersey Club.
