About the Book

That day at the bus stop, Betsy was unaware her life was about to take a different turn She was not ready to start a relationship, all she  wanted was, finish nursing school as she continued to care for her sisters. She was not thinking her conversation with Paul will change everything in her world and make her question her self-worth. Being in a foreign place, not knowing her surroundings and the culture, Betsy finds herself entangled in an unhealthy scheme. She learned to make excuses for everything Paul did and made a world only she was able to understand. Her principles and beliefs system made it easier for her to justify Paul's odd behavior. Betsy turned to God to find courage, patience and determination.  When Paul, told her, he did not want her and never loved her, Betsy then, knew it was time for a change.  As she enters a world of relationships, lies and abuse, Betsy is forced to face the truth about herself, her relationship to the man she is married to and her childrens future…………
