About the Book
It’s a Muddy World follows a very animated pile of mud named Clarence Creature Von Mudbutt on his quest to create his own inner beauty. Along his travels he meets creatures of all sorts, from leaping frogs, unique unicorns, and an adorable bumblebee to fairies that ride dragonflies, leprechauns and many others you need to see!
About the Author
Susan Shorter has been an illustrator in the publishing industry since 2007, and in that time has illustrated over 150 children’s books. She felt it was time to use her abilities to create a fun story of her own to share with family and friends. Susan loves to stretch the imagination with her illustrations and infuse them with humor every chance she gets. Mrs. Shorter holds a bachelor’s degree from the Herron School of Art and resides with her husband, two crazy cats and a fish named Lips in southern Indiana.
