I have spent nearly 20 years in the company of some of the most funniest, friendliest people you could ever choose to meet but i`ve seen the downside, the depression, anger and jelousy. One man changed my life, i`ve been a Driver, friend, bodyguard, waiter and counsellor, in other areas of my life i`ve been a dad, brother, partner, lover, prostitute, straight, gay and Bi...ive been at death door more than once, i fought some battles and most i`ve won. Norman always say`s `he`s a luckily little devil` well i`m not lucky or a devil but i wouldn`t change a minute of it. This book is about my life so far, the people i met, driven, pissed off and admired, the situations i got into and out of, the laughter and jokes but most of all the friends and friendship and most of all its about my mate `Norman, Pitkin, Nitwit, Short arse` all of which you will remember. enjoy the book.
About the Author
Steven Evans is 41 yrs old and lives in Royal Leamington Spa with his partner Renaud. He has enjoyed nearly 20 years of Chauffeuring, 15 years of which was for Sir Norman Wisdom OBE. He has given numerous published interviews and has interviewed stars for magazines here and abroad. Steven has also appeared alongside some of his clients on TV inc `Last of the summer wine`. The author boasts he has worked with Frank Thornton, Dora Bryan, Jean Alexander and Dame Thora Hird. He has driven Sir Norman, Victoria Wood, John Inman, Sir John Mills, Honor Blackman and various other bond girls. He is especially proud of driving various Star Trek stars inc Armin Shimmerman who he describes as `the perfect gentleman`. Steve is a self confessed addict of coffee and 50`s 60`s 70`s comedy. He is divorced with 2 children `Daniel` and `Jason`.
