Under the banner Adversity and Strife this collection of verse will I hope
touch a nerve.
There are common experiences with which to relate, observations in nature, and frank comment on the burning issues of the day.
My take on the problems in the world, tinged with optimism.

About the Author
Eileen Ramsey was born in Lancashire where during childhood and the teenage years her love of poetry emerged. On leaving school she began studying drama but then took a change in direction and went into nursing. Some years later a new career switch led her into teaching. Following an early marriage and the birth of her three children, she spent a long happy time in North Oxfordshire, raising her family and working mainly as a primary school teacher. Her life embraced a wide variety of activities and along with a fair degree of hardship there was also a lot of fun. Now living on the coast in North Devon, she has time to reflect, rekindle old interests and develop new ones.
