About the Book

This book is a collaboration of two generations of women, mother and daughter, meant to express the words that tickle your senses, touch your soul and awaken your spirit.

About the Author

Claire (the Apple) is an Ethnic Studies and Creative Writing double major whose plans after college include living in cardboard box on a Manhattan subway platform and using any collected change to build a boat to San Salvador, the Bahamas. She hopes her poetry inspires visions of dancing purple hippopotami among others. Feliz (the Tree) is a Jane of all Trades, mistress of a few. She is a social worker by day, and by night she escapes into her world of words.
