Little Betsy Mae is a book about building self esteem. Betsy is a beautiful girl inside and out but failed to see her true beauty because she was so busy comparing herself to others that she felt fit the profile of true beauty. Betsy learns to overcome her insecurities and focus on what is important – her true beauty from within.
About the Author
Angel Tucker-Carr is a wife and mother of three who is known for her passion and philanthropic heart in giving back to her community. Angel has used her God-given gifts to serve in numerous capacities in several communities. Angel has made breakthroughs that will allow her to share her experiences and struggle with self esteem, with millions throughout the world. Finding one’s greatness has become Angel’s greatest passion and she altruistically teaches others to find and embrace their true beauty. Angel has been a guest and panelists on several talk shows as well as a local television station, sharing her knowledge on becoming empowered and self assured. Being a licensed barber/stylist and freelance beauty enhancer Angel has worked with renowned make-up artists in the industry and freely shares with the underprivileged who cannot afford services on a normal basis. Angel is an active member of notably recognized organizations, coaches youth sports and extracurricular activities, and above all serves in her church with the youth and young adults. Angel is the youngest of eight children and honors her mother and father for the foundation they laid in her life.
