Buddy Bear is an adventure seeking travel companion. Is it any wonder that he has found so many wonderful Lighthouses to explore in the Michigan coastline. From St. Joseph to Holland to Whitehall and all the way up to Traverse City, there are adventures to behold. The waves crashing on the Pier in Ludington. The vast beaches of Grand Haven and Muskegon. The hike to Little Sable and Big Sable are a full day of new and wonderful experiences.

Embark on this journey of beautiful photography as the views from the lighthouses beckon you to explore your world and learn something new.

About the Author

Ruth Smith is a Mom and Grandmother who loves to travel. She takes pictures along the way to share with her family and friends. Many times the story of a trip is in the travel that occurs on the way to the destination. There are so many beautiful places to see, adventures to behold and wonderful people to meet.

Ruth has been a Baker for most of her life. Currently, She and her husband Rick own the Downtown Bakery & Deli in Allegan, MI. Most any time you visit, you will find the walls filled with photographs of their adventures.

Buddy Bear is their gentle travel companion while their son is away serving in the United States Air Force. They have another Daughter and Son who live close by and eight Grandchildren.
