Scientists are discovering multiple dimensions within our universe. The ones we can perceive are three spacial dimensions; as in a line, a one-dimensional object; a flat square, a two-dimensional object; and a square with depth; a cube, a three-dimensional object, and the fourth dimension being time. Adding time to a three-dimensional space makes the space-time-continuum four-dimensional. Now, through string theory, scientists and mathematicians are imagining as many as ten dimensions, if not more. Theorizing that everything on its microscopic level consists of a combination of vibrating strands wrapped up in a curled-up space, these explorers of the universe are revealing more of our world than we can see with our eyes. This depth and complexity is constantly being revealed through the Creator of our universe, and His interactions with us through the words He left us in our time domain. Imagine if you will, a flat line looking at a square. All the line would see is a dot. It wouldn't be until the square was somehow able to pull the line into its dimension that it would see the entire square. As human-beings, in time, we are that line and the only way for us to see God is for Him to pull us out of our dimension. Through the Bible, God's Living Word to us in time, we are pulled out of our four dimensions and placed in a fantastic multi-dimensional universe, engineered by the Creator.
Like an artist, beyond our plane of time, God created and continues to create a magnificent and dynamic painting through the lives of people living in time. He uses the darkness to add depth and the light adds vibrant colors. At a moment in time, and a point in space God allowed the darkness to begin defining his artwork. The following is a physical happening on earth embedded in a spiritual reality with brush strokes from the eternal artist.
Freed from the gravitational forces of matter, and held captive in another physically unseen dimension, the dark disembodied spirits had no reflection of any kind. They had chosen to be the anti-light, the black hole of life. Preferring the shadows of darkness over the Light they came at night and hovered over the bed of a sleeping child at a moment in time, at a point in space. They whispered in the child's ear.
"You are alone. There is no one here to help you.” They themselves were alone. Trapped in their darkness, they knew only fear, loneliness and isolation.
"Mom, mom,” cried Kaydee, after waking up from her afternoon nap. Her mom, Eleese, a stay at home mother busy raising three girls, ran to her daughter's side.
"What's wrong, honey?” she asked.
"I just had a terrible dream,” Kaydee said trembling with tears in her eyes. “I dreamed I was all alone. I called out for you and daddy but no one came. It was dark and scary.”
Kaydee was the first born to Eleese and Marion, a young couple who grew up together in Newton, Kansas. Eleese grew up on a farm with 12 brothers. Being the only girl, she had to help her mother in the house preparing meals for the boys and her father. She longed to be able to do more than domestic chores, but her mother told her, “You need to learn to be a lady. Some day you will have a house full of children and then you will be happy to have learned how to clean, cook, sew and do laundry.”
"I wish for once I could go out to the fields and get dirty and sweaty just like my brothers,” thought Eleese but she didn't dare say anything for, in this time, children were to be seen and not heard.
Eleese learned to hold her feelings in and do as she was told. Eleese's family came from the Mennonite tradition. As far back as Eleese could remember they all went to church every Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evenings for mid-week Bible studies. It was who they were. They were Mennonites with a rich heritage. There was a certain pride that came with being a part of a religion that held strongly to their rules and traditions. They were convicted that their belief was the only right one. After church gatherings, they could be heard quietly discussing the pitfalls and shortcomings of other religions in their town. Their eyes darting around and their movements exaggerated, as they spoke, to be sure no one would notice their own insecurities for which they struggled against.
"Religious pride, rules and traditions will make you more like God, knowing all things,” the dark disembodied spirits would whisper in the ears of those who would listen. “Ha, ha, ha,” they hissed and cackle with enjoyment when they saw the time-bound church-goers getting caught up in their illusions, like helpless flies trapped in a spider's web.
The light-givers, disembodied spirits also freed from the gravitational forces of matter, but choosing to reflect the nature of God and bring truth and love to the time-dwellers, were there trying to get the attention of the religious elite, “Don't listen to the dark spirits for they are only interested in killing, stealing and destroying. Humble yourselves before the Light and He will lift you up.” But humility was not what they wanted so their ears were set on listening to the lies.
