Rise of the phoenix- a fathers story is about a fathers life within family life, and then on to a single father, following divorce. The book deals with the type of situation following separation and how the children react to such situations. Then deals with a fathers struggle for access and living a single life seeing the children when he can. The subject of bargaining with his ex partner to see his children and in taking them on holiday. The book is emotional and deemed a little tragic at times. But the author hopes to reach the hearts of many and shake up irrisponsible fathers who abandon their children. The book includes personal accounts of events of the authors life and attempts to explain how situations can occur. The author is completely open about his life and experiences in order to present the facts and help others to see how marriages can be distroyed in so many ways, leaving the children in the middle of total confusion and dismay.
About the Author
Stephen Sutton was born in Birmingham England and was raised in Lichfield Staffordshire. He then moved to Manchester married there and lived in the area raising four adourable children. However in 2006 his life was turned around by the separation of his wife and himself, this led swiftly to his divorce. Since this time Stephen has rebuilt his life, but not without years of pain and hardship, living homeless for a while. His evperience is told in this book. Stephen wrote his first book in 2005 called 'Life in a jar-living with dyslexia', he is hoping this latest book will help to promote his first book. Stephen is also a traveller and wants to experience life and culture across the world, and eventually write about this.
