About the Book

Christy Hayes is trying to find marital happiness in the little town in which she grew up and where she wants to make her lifetime home.  Her family owns a large ranch and she has a great job as a paralegal in her grandfather’s law firm, but a cherished love affair has not been forthcoming to her.  She is desperate and finally flies to San Francisco to meet a Chat Room acquaintance, but returns home totally disillusioned.

Jon Holcomb is traveling by plane to interview for his first job since finishing Law School.  His seat assignment happens to be beside a beautiful young lady, and God speaks to him saying, “This is the one I have chosen for you.”  He tries to talk to her but gets very little response.

“Are you really sure about this, God?” he asks as they go their separate ways at the Denver airport.

He then hears a small voice ask, “If God confronts you with a problem, can’t he also help you bring it to fruition?”

About the Author

As a young child, Sally enjoyed visiting her uncle’s farm in Western Illinois. She was fascinated with the different machinery, the barn with several stalls for horses, and the hayloft where her sisters and cousin would climb up into. She also loved roaming the fields where the cattle were grazing along with a few sheep and maybe a goat or two. Living in a small town, it was great to see the wide open spaces out on the farm, unsuccessfully trying to milk the cows, and to get to sit up high on the back of a horse. Her family didn’t get to travel much while she was growing up, since it was during the depression of the 1930’s, so their occasional trip to the farm was a big event. She still loves to see the animals, but especially the horses, in the fields when driving along the highways today, and it has been fun for her to include this magnificent equine in her books.
