About the Author

Dawana Parks-Seabrook began writing poetry at the age of eight years old. Though this is her first published book, she has written hundreds of poems. Dawana hopes readers will enjoy reading her poetry; understand the messages; and apply them to their daily lives. It is her goal to bring others to Christ through her poetry and testimony. Dawana is married and is the proud mother of three. When she is not working as a substitute teacher, spending time with family and friends, she is reading inspirational work and writing poetry. Her passions include writing and working with individuals who have special needs. Dawana strives to be a better person each day and pray that she leaves a good impression wherever she goes or in whatever she does. She not only writes to inspire, but write poetry for others and events for a cause.
