For what purpose is man born

For what purpose does he live

Why do some grow very old

And some exist, a short while

Was man created to destroy man

Or was he born to improve life

Can he exist as long in constant war

As he could in World Unified Peace

Was it meant to be rich and poor

Or are we to share with another

Why does man despise those so pure

And deny existence of the impure

Is mans purpose to destroy life before life

Does not the unborn have a right to live

What Reason is there for man to strive

If tossed away, like a dry ear of corn

A haughty mans purpose to stay alive

Is self preservation, and to fight

For only the rich and strong survive

The poor and weak, drop out of sight
