About the Book
Eddy the Elephant is a large careless Elephant. He always seems to get into trouble but this time, he is up to his trunk in trouble. Eddy gets his trunk stuck and his friends try to help him get loose, but, Lenny the mouse is too small to help, Lance the lion is trying to be helpful but is always hungry, and Jay the bird is smart but does he have what it takes to help Eddy this time.
About the Author
Nader Barbari is a full time working father. He currently works at Gilead Sciences. Nader grew up in San Francisco and currently resides in Menlo Park California. This is his first book with plans for more. His son Rami loves bedtime stories and helped come up with this story of Eddy the Elephant. "Rami always makes me feel so special every time I get home from work. He runs to me shouting daddy daddy your home. Almost a mini celebration each day as I drive into the driveway. " Every night as we are getting ready for bed, he comes in and says, “tell me the elephant story”. I say “again”? So every night I tell him the same story over and over. It was he who came up the idea of an elephant getting his trunk stuck. So I went on to tell him the story with a twist each time. Finally we had a version that he liked best and this is it. Eddy the Elephant, a lovable creature that gets into trouble simply trying to get a drink of water from his favorite spot. Rami's love for animals; especially Elephants made this a fun story to tell him each night until I decided to look into putting it on paper.
