I'm Still Standing

I went into prostituting myself full time. After two years it began to get to me. I had quite a bit of money in the bank, but I hated the way I felt after every job. I brain washed myself to think it's just a job and it's nothing. I was good looking; I exercised and had a great body. I was good at what I did, but when regular guys approached me I couldn't bring myself to talk to any of them. I know it sounds crazy but I thought that I was cheating on Charles. Yes that was his name. I fell in love with him. I guess because he was my first. I thought he would come back. He never did. I made money for him and myself and Candice who was his book keeper. I have to admit it was a great set up. I stayed in the business for five years. I purchased a home in the suburbs. After five years I started getting tired and depressed. I wanted someone to love me. I was twenty-one.
