About the Book

The book is a collection of excerpts from a diary written while serving as a Peace Corps Physician with the United States Peace Corps in Ouagadougou, Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso).

About the Author

Milt Kogan, M.D. practices as a Family Physician and professional Actor in Hollywood.  He and his wife, Susan, also spend time on their farm in Oceanside, California.  The older children, Magavin and Taedra have earned law degrees.  Middle son, Jamie, is a successful composer in the film business.  Younger daughter, Millay, has been accepted in law school for the Fall.  Days of great joy are when the three grandchildren – Parker, Sarah, Coda – and the family dogs visit the farm.
