Logan Vanessa Chase Jr., or Heroin as her family knows her, is living in a world, where humans are used for science projects. With her team of renegades, a doctor, a sex addict, a girl from an abused life, a whore, and an escapee from the hell of being bred into life, and being used in science projects, she has a job to stop these people breeding humans for science. Her cat, PrettyBoy, is her only true friend, while she copes with using drugs, and cutting herself. But when the youngest member of their team is captured again, she has to team up with other renegades to get him back. Can she deal with her past and her addiction to drugs, and cutting herself? Will she get her team mate/'brother' back?

This world exist only in her mind, but Hila loves nothing more then to paint the pictures of what it looks like on paper, with words, and characters and strange creatures, that to a normal person, would be monsters. J.K.Hila also writes with her emotions controlling her words. "Most of what I write is basically just word-vomit. But it's word-vomit that gets you thinking, 'Hey! This is awesome! I wish I could go on an adventure like this and meet crazy creatures!" Hila quotes.
