About the Book
Sweet Baby Heather's daddy takes her to the zoo. The exciting animals they see bring many questions and comments. Sweet Baby Heather wants to know why the lion cub is crying and if she can touch the giraffe's head. Daddy wants to know if she likes the stripes on the tiger and explains that the elephant's long nose is called a trunk. They have a happy day at the zoo. Leaving hand in hand, Sweet Baby Heather exclaims, "I love you Daddy, yes I truly do!".
About the Author
Donna Fletcher is an elementary music teacher who loves children and children's books. Donna began reading books to her daughter when Heather was only a few months old. Donna began calling Heather "sweet baby" after the song Sweet - a Little Baby, by Pete Seeger that Donna often sings to Heather as a lullaby. Donna resides in Rosenberg, Texas with her husband Kenny, son Benjamin, and daughter Heather. Donna has written other Sweet Baby Heather books that she hopes to publish in the near future.
