Next was a door marked, " Yeti."
Alora looked in around the edge of the door. To her amazement the creatures inside looked a lot like happy smiling humans! Just bigger and covered with a heavy long fur. There were four of them. all appeared to be adults. Two females and she guessed two males.
"Greetings near hairless one that wears strange skins." The biggest said.
Alora jumped back in surprise, then remembered Beam again must have taught her this language too.
"Ah... Hello. Greetings. Ahh. I'm here to open your cell. I'm here to let you free. Ahh , you won't hurt me will you?" Alora asked unsure and nervous. They were so big!
"Oh, by no means would we do such. But how is it that you know our language? I have never seen nor heard of any such as you. You have such little hair on you and you are so small. Is it not so cold where you live?"
"To be truthful I don't exactly know how I know your language." Which was true she thought to herself. "I seem to be able to speak it . You should go out of this ship and find shelter in the forest. And by the way, stay hidden from people like me, many cannot be trusted."
Alora placed her hand on the release and the big door slid open. The four creatures gathered up some food and some sticks and stones, things they needed and stepped out of their enclosure.
The largest one whom she had spoken to reached a huge hand and patted her on her shoulder.
"We shall not forget your kindness, and we shall heed your advice about your kind, we will stay hidden from them." He turned and departed, the others following behind.

Alora Bravemist had never conceived of traveling through time. Alora had never ridden on the back of a giant wolf or uncovered a buried alien space ship or discovered one of the ten wonders of the universe. Alora only knew the sad loss of her mother in an automobile accident. Helping her father raise her little brother became her lot in life.
But then in less than three heartbeats everything changed. That very moment she came upon a strange hand written note. It was a poem, a very special poem, a riddle of sorts. A riddle contrived by the fantastic "Guardian of Time".
From here on life would never, ever be the same again. She would see wonders and adventures beyond her imagination. .. but only if Alora could live long enough to help it all unfold in time.

M J Williams (Michael Joseph Williams) born Honolulu Hawaii June 1955, gives you a new imaginative view to science fiction fantasy, with his background in martial arts (19 years study Tae Kwon Do), his love of nature, and his mechanical background (tested at top 3% of USA) he is able to weave complicated plots into startling realities. He currently is living in the Pacific Northwest with his family and all their animals.
