Eleanor My Inspiration

About the Book

This book is dedicated to the memory of my loving mother, Eleanor B. Blair. A woman who was wise, strong spirited, and gave from her heart. My mother was a double amputee, survived two open-heart surgeries, and still stood tall. Eleanor did not let her sickness get her down. Even at the end, my mother left this world with a beautiful smile on her face letting us know that she was all right.

About the Author

Donna Renee Brown was born on May 1st, 1956, in Berryville, Virginia. When she was two years old her mother, brother, and sister moved to Eustis, Florida. Donna and her family lived there until she was 12 years old. At that time in her life, Donna and her family again relocated to Bellport, New York, where she attended Bellport High School. Donna, now has four children . In 1989 Donna went to classes to become a practical care aide, after a few years of working, Donna decided to upgrade to a Home Health Aide. A couple of years later Donna found that she did not want to be just working in peoples homes, so she went back to school for her Nurses Aide Certification. Donna worked at Mather Hospital, in Port Jefferson, NY where she was an assistant to the nurses on a telementry unit. Donna resides in Ladson, SC. Donna loves to work with people, write, cook, read, and be the best that she can be in all aspects of her life…
