The Dark Side

I headed straight to Bill's grave,the moon was bright in the sky and I knew I had to work fast,it would be a long night anyway and I certainly didn't want to be here at day break. I started digging at midnight and it wasn't until three hours later that I finally uncovered his coffin,my muscles ached at the effort and my back was badly cramped,luckily the soil was still quite loose though or else the task would've been almost impossible,dirt kept falling back into the hole anyway and more than once I had to climb out and haul it away from the sides,I was filthy and sweaty by this time and so I sat then for a while,in the hole,on top of Bill's coffin,totally spent. The mobile phone rang then as I sat there,but now I didn't need to answer it to hear Bill and the phone fell silent in my pocket,he and I,I now knew,were connecting on a much higher level than mere electromagnetic waves. "Hiya Bill"I said. "Hey kiddo,What's the plan?",he asked. "Get you out of there mate,that's the plan",I replied,as I stood up and crashed the spade into the lid of his coffin.
