About the Author

William Armando Goodger was born in Milan on April 4 1986 and died there on February 8 2011, a few days after "2012 Prophecies and Global Warming" was published. He took his own life by jumping off the roof of Milan's Duomo cathedral. A student of energy resources and engineering at Milan's world-famous Politecnico university, William devoted his final year to researching and writing his book. He was convinced the world would undergo a radical change in 2012. William was the son of educationalist and musician Charles Goodger from London (founder of funsongs.co.uk) and the artist Annamaria Mauro; his untimely death left a gaping hole in the hearts of the many who knew and loved him. They will never forget his gentle ways and quick smile.
