About the Book

The book is about a story of a young girl living with her family on the island of Philippines. Her father who is in the U.S Navy moved them across the waters to the land of the free; America. The life she knew as a child will soon change. Her story unfolds; growing up to a new place and adjusting to her new life.

About the Author

The author; was raised in the bay area of San Francisco, California, and she is now living in Louisiana with her husband of 38 years. They have two daughter's and six grandchildren. Her passion is to write, but she had never found the opportunity to do so, until now. She had raised a family and work through the years, at age 59 she finally found the opportunity to write about her own life experience as a young girl to adulthood.
