Just simple

Ways
Take your word for it
And I’m still left with
Gloom
Could have gone
Had the chance before
We settled
Many, many nights
I’’ve cried
How dumb of me to wait
I can’t hold any longer
Trying to keep the
Inner peace
Take me home
Everyday marks a miserable
Page
And Sunday, strolling
A desert
Around strangers I don’t
Know
Eyes shadowed, head down
Too long I’ve waited
Too long I’ve dwelled
Under these trees
Could be happy as of now
Got no business
Wasting away
Take me home
