Little Diggers

Once upon a time, in a land not too far away, there was a place known as Finnegan’s Hill. You won’t find it on any map and you might have even driven right past it a time or two and never realized that Mr. Finnegan use to live here on 25 acres of green grass and beautiful evergreen trees. The only way to find this place is with a guide, because all the folks that lived around here all claimed that he lived for nearly 500 years, then just disappeared one day and hasn’t been seen since. About 25 years had gone by since Mr. Finnegan had disappeared and that was long enough for the county to take it for back taxes. No one wanted to buy the property from the county, so all twenty five acres was donated to the Finnegan Hill Mortuary and Funeral Service. No one person wanted to be buried there because people believed the land was cursed. Some even said that the hill was magic. After all, no one knew what happened to poor ol’ Mr. Finnegan. Now as fate would have it, Bruce and his friends needed a job and they had only one of two choices. They could work in the circus, or they could work at the mortuary digging graves, for you see, Bruce and his friends stood only four foot two to four foot six, and because they did not want to be on display, they got jobs as little diggers. This is their story.
