Ian’s eyes popped open! He knew where he was! At the beach! Another day at the beach! Life couldn’t get much better. When he was dressed and downstairs, Ian had a big surprise. His mom and Gamma had decided they could have donuts for breakfast!That was really great! Dad went to pick them up. Those donutswere just as good as Ian had thought they would be… delicious! Last night before he had gone to sleep, Ian had heard Gamma and his parents talking about a “ferry”. He didn’t know what a ferry was, but Gamma had told him it was a big boat. Not a big, big boat like a ship; but a BIG BOAT nonetheless. Gamma said cars could drive right up on the ferry. Ian could not wait to see that sight!

About the Book
Ian loves going on vacation, but he loves his family's visits with his gamma most of all. Gamma always has very exciting fun things for him to experience for the very first time. When he began this trip, Ian couldn't wait to get to the beach! While he was there he learned about many new things. Gamma always knew how to give him "first times".
